Gog & Magog Rules: Resource Cards and Mana Economy
Resource Card Definition & Mechanics
In the turn-based multiplayer card game Gog & Magog, Resource Cards (commonly referred to as Mana Cards) represent the primary foundation of the game's energy economy. These cards are engineered to fuel actions across the board grid. The deployment rules for Resource Cards follow strict tactical parameters:
Deployment Limits: A player is strictly restricted to deploying a maximum of **one (1) Resource Card per turn phase**.
Token Generation Loop: Declaring and resolving a Resource Card grants the active player the right to obtain one or multiple physical or digital **Mana Tokens**. These tokens are used as currency to meet the deployment costs of basic creature cards, spell cards, and unique ability units.
Resolution Loop: Unlike permanent battlefield assets, Resource Cards are single-use components. Once played and resolved to generate their designated mana tokens, they do not remain on the board; instead, they are routed back into the core gameplay deck.
Token Visibility: Generated mana tokens are positioned clearly on the border lines of the game board layout, maintaining absolute transparency for both opponents during tactical PvP duels.
