Gog & Magog Rules: Allegiance Cards and Conditional Board Dependencies
Allegiance Mechanic & Deployment Parameters
In the turn-based multiplayer tactical board and card game architecture of Gog & Magog, Allegiance Cards represent a subset of highly conditional creature assets. These units generate powerful mechanical synergies but are bound by strict target prerequisites on the board layout:
Summoning Dependency: A creature card possessing the specialized **Allegiance competency** cannot resolve to play arbitrarily. The game rules dictate that this token can only be deployed from the hand if the specific master creature asset to which the allegiance is sworn is already **actively present and revealed upon the game board grid**.
Combat Resolution Loop: If the sworn master unit is removed from the field or destroyed during a war phase, existing units bound by allegiance maintain their current position, but new dependent items cannot enter the grid lines until the master token parameter is met again.
