Core Game Loop
Gog & Magog is a turn-based multiplayer tactical card combat game played between two opponents or teams. Matches feature a default pool of 30 Energy Tokens per player, zero baseline starting mana, and pre-constructed decks containing exactly 150 unique cards per player (300 total in play). Players draw 5 cards randomly to form their initial hand. Match configurations support optional round time limits controlled via a 30-second or 60-second sand timer asset.
Destiny Mode Format
In Destiny Mode, players draw cards continuously from their full pre-constructed 150-card decks that have been dynamically shuffled. Strategy focuses on adapting to random draws across successive card drafting cycles while managing a progressive mana curve to deploy creatures and summon spells against enemy defense lines.
Free Will Mode Format
In Free Will Mode, players curate a sub-deck of exactly 50 principal cards chosen from their total 150-card inventory, ensuring no duplicate creature entries are present. Players shuffle this 50-card deck and draw an initial 5-card hand. If the primary 50-card deck is completely exhausted, the game rules allow players to replenish their pool by drafting 50 additional cards from the remaining 100 unused cards.
